Welcome to Green Monstera — a boutique nursery born from a plant addiction that got completely out of hand. (Turns out, it’s the best kind.)
What started as a plant rescue blog quietly became something bigger: a dining room with 200+ mother plants, a growing collection of aroids, hoyas, begonias, tradescantias and occasional succulents and a small shop where every plant leaves with my personal stamp of approval.
Every plant earns its place. Nothing goes out the door until it’s ready. New additions are potted in my own aroid blend, and grown on in transparent pots so I can keep an eye on root health. It’s slow, deliberately. That’s the point.
What you’ll find here:
The Shop — plants (mostly) propagated from my own mother plants, potted in the right kind of soil blend and ready to grow. Each one checked, passported, and sent with care.
Soil & accessories — the accessories and substrate blends I actually use, available online and in store at Tinkers Hardware Brighton.
The Blog — care guides, propagation deep-dives, and honest accounts of what works (and what spectacularly doesn’t). Updated when there’s something worth saying.
Why Green Monstera?
Because you’re getting a plant that’s been grown slowly, checked properly, and sent by someone who genuinely cares whether it survives the journey — and thrives long after.
